We pioneered the concept of "Cooperative Housing" in Japan, where prospective residents form an association that acts as the developer, overseeing every stage from land acquisition and design to construction and management. This approach eliminated intermediaries and developer margins, enhancing design flexibility while fostering a strong sense of community among future neighbors throughout the home-building process.
Over the course of approximately 15 years, we have introduced more than 60 instances of Cooperative Housing, offering a unique alternative to traditional housing. This innovative model not only provides residents with a diverse array of housing options, but also extends its influence to Cooperative Villages designed for single-family homes, ensuring a creative and connected living experience.
